Progressive muscle relaxation is a technique developed by Dr. Edmund Jacobson in the 1920s. It is a highly effective means of relaxating your body muscles and reducing tension. Give it a try!


AUTOGENIC TRAINING

Autogenic training was developed by a German psychiatrist, Dr. J. H. Schultz in the 1930s. As you can see, both techniques have been around a long time. They are tried and true. Autogenic training focuses more on visualization as a means of relaxing rather than tensing and relaxing muscles. 


SELF-HYPNOSIS FOR DRIVING ANXIETY

This is a self-hypnosis recording that you may find helpful in reducing your anxiety and fears concnering driving. DO NOT listen to this while you are driving. This is to be used in the comfort of your home, in a quiet place free of distraction for about 45 minutes. Practice this often and you find find that your dirving fears will start to diminish.
